Houston Update

Hello Family,

We will follow #1's lead and provide a quick update. Not much new to report.

First, the weather has been excellent. We enjoy looking at everyone's pictures of snow though, especially seeing Landon Love playing and enjoying it. Come for a visit if you need some sunshine and 70* temperatures. Our spare room is always open. Second, we miss you all very much and love stalking your social media accounts for pictures, so post more if you can. :)

For the Mr... he has been traveling a bit. At the typing of this blog post, he is in NOLA visiting some universities and conducting some meetings. He has recently been in all of the usual places (DC, NYC) and has established a calendar for the duration of this semester. Rivers would still like to run a Boston qualifying race, so please be in prayers for his training and focus. Also prayers for direction would be greatly appreciated as he is looking into a career change. Nothing set in stone, just keeping options open.

For the Mrs... she is busy with work. She is preparing for a conference in Corpus Christi next month. She will be speaking on male victims of sex trafficking. Prayers are welcomed. Things at church are getting underway also. Our ministries are in full swing preparing for Resurrection Sunday, which its hard to believe is next month. For those of you who don't know, our church has 4 services every Sunday (which makes for a long day), but we have rented out the Toyota Center, so everyone will be able to worship all at once under the same roof for Easter.
