Well said!
I praise God for the life and legacy of Geraldine Walton. I am thankful for the memories that we made with our family. I'm personally thankful for her being the incredibly wise and prayerful matriarch that led this family and will remain an example for future generations. Our family is stronger because of her love. She started it all.
Q
What say you?
Ok. Update on Grandma. Tried using medication to reduce fluid, body rejected medicine. dr. brought in kidney specialist, he did a couple of tests with her, coming to the conclusion that it's her liver that is shutting down. Will be looking at a new set of treatments. It is serious.
Karen is in route. Dad in process of calling Carmen and Brenda.
Grandma had been making good progress with her knee. She was up and walking, getting around pretty good.
She has continued to have coughing and both her knees and legs seemed to be swelling. She started to feel pretty tired and uncomfortable. After complaining about swelling and lower back pain, they ran tests that showed problems with her kidneys.
We got a call this morning, that Meadowlark was taking her to the ER for further testing.
She is resting right now. Something is going on with the kidneys which is causing fluid build up.
She will stay overnight and possibly longer, so that we can find the cause and figure out treatment.
We will keep you posted!
Keep her in your prayers
